Odyssey ProType Tour Series 2-Ball Putter
The Odyssey ProType Tour Series 2-Ball Putter is a newly designed extended head mallet putter. Milled from 1025 carbon steel, the ProType Tour Putter provides incredible feel and feedback and a new milling groove pattern produces a true roll and unmatched consistency. The the extended mallet head design was created with input from tour professionals and it features a double bend shaft with a full shaft of offset.
ProType Tour Series 2-Ball Putter Features
- 1025 Carbon Steel Construction:
Produces similar performance characteristics to stainless steel with a softer feel. A deeper, sharper milling pattern on the putter face increases interaction between the face and the ball for better feel, truer roll and more consistency.
- Headweight Optimization:
Subtle tweaks to the design allow us to optimize the putter head with the shaft length using slightly heavier heads for shorter models of putters. Headweight Optimization also helps to optimize feel, control and accuracy.
- Lamkin 3GEN Pistol Grip:
Thin, smaller pistol shape appeals to better players. The grip is made of Lamkin’s proprietary 3GEN material, which is their softest synthetic rubber compound and reduces vibration without dulling the feel of the putt. This pistol grip allows golfers to keep their forearms relaxed, apply very light grip pressure and minimize hand tension for smooth, consistent strokes.
