Bridgestone J40 Dual Pocket Cavity Iron Set - Project X Steel Shafts
The new Bridgestone J40 Dual Pocket Cavity Iron Set builds on the success of the J38 Dual Pocket Cavity irons and incorpoates additional technology for improved performance. The new DPC design moves more discretionary weight to the perimeter for greater forgiveness while increasing the mass directly behind the hitting area for better feel. The J40 irons are forged from 1020 carbon steel which provides excellent feel, and each iron has new leading edge relief and a tapered sole design resulting in increased shotmaking versatility.
Bridgestone J40 Dual Pocket Cavity Features
- Dual Pocket Cavity:
The new Dual Pocket Cavity moves more discretionary weight to the perimeter resulting in improved forgiveness. The new DPC design also simultaneously places more mass directly behind the hitting area for an improved feel.

The J40 irons have midsized heads that are forged from high quality 1020 carbon steel which provides incredible feel, sound, and feedback.
